Update and LAN

Hi guys,

We've been quiet for a bit, but here is the latest update and news.

-We shall be holding a LAN on saturday 28th november. I apologise for the fairly short notice, and apologise that at this point in time we are unable to confirm the venue. We are looking at booking the Edge in endcliffe, but this will be subject to change. Standard details will apply, £1 members, £4 non members. You will also be able to collect your long overdue membership cards for the year!

- We shall be buying some more wii games, so if you have suggestions as to what we should buy, email us or let us know your thoughts at the lan

-Its looking like our airsoft trip will be taking place after the exam period in the new year, so keep your ears and eyes open for more details

Committee Meeting and social

Time for yet another email from us, and hopefully not too long this time

We shall be holding a committee meeting in the Gallery (above the source) at 8pm on Monday 19th October. After the meeting, we shall be having a social, with us heading straight down to bar one to crack out the beers, and then into Population.
All are welcome, and if you feel like you would want to stand for committee positions for next year, come and introduce yourself and get your thoughts heard.

Also, this is the last call for people wishing to attend Eurogamer Expo on 28th October. If you wish to attend place your name in the thread in the forums before Monday as we shall be purchasing tickets at the meeting

Last minute change of plan for the LAN

ATTENTION

The lan will now be held in Halifax Halls of Residence in Endcliffe.

This is due to Endcliffe staff being n00bs and double booking The Edge, and apparently we're not as important as a conference of 150 people.

So Halifax it is, all other details are the same. On the plus side, taxis should be able to pull up pretty much to the door of Halifax.
